How to Remove Crab Pincer Shell Before Cooking?

This is a tip on how to remove hard shell of crab pincer before cooking in the most efficient way.




1. Keep fresh crab pincers in freezer for 1 hr before use.  This is to allow the flesh to contract, so that it can later be easily separated from the shell.


2. Cover whole pincer with towel before smashing.


3. Except for shell on non-movable pincer to be used for holding when eating, remove other parts of shell thoroughly.
