This tip on preparation of edible lily bulbs before use in cooking.
Method:
1. Wash and dry lily bulbs.
2. Cut off top and bottom of each bulb and free each petal with hands.
3. Use lily petals straight in soup or stir fry. Do not over cook as the petals will turn mushy.
4. The lily petals can also be eaten raw.
