How to Remove Cempedak/Jackfruit Seeds from Its Thick Jacket Easily?

The seeded fruits inside Cempedak/Jackfruit glued very firmly to the thick jacket.  This tip is on how one can remove the fruits easily for consumption or for use in cooking.

Method:

1. Before cut open the fruit, throw the whole fruit a few times with force to the ground.

2. Cut open fruit with knife, and ply open the jacket with both hands.  The seeded fruits inside can be easily separated from skin jacket by lifting up the main stem brunch.

3. Remove individual seeded fruits with hand. 

4. Slit the flesh of each seed carefully so that the internal seed is not damaged.  Remove the seed with help of knife and hand. 

5. The seeds are edible after thorough boiling, till soft enough for a fork to pierce through easily.

6. The fruits can now be eaten or used in cooking.
